Summary of Position:

We are seeking a proven Inside Sales professional with a history of selling and qualifying business in a tech environment.

You will make initial contact with prospects, conduct data gathering/needs analysis, lead the proposal process, make necessary presentations, and secure contracts that meet the company’s and the clients’ needs. You will manage all activities of the sales cycle to maximize opportunities with a high close rate. In addition to meeting assigned quotas, responsibilities will include:

  • Outbound calling to a defined set of “hot” prospects in order to convert them to active opportunities and ultimately closing them as successful sales.
  • Fielding inbound calls and leads from various sources, qualifying business potential, and closing new accounts.
  • Collaborating with marketing, product, and other functions to help refine the sales pitch and inform the future of the product, based on first hand experiences with customers and prospects.
  • Maintaining regular contact with established client accounts.
  • Reporting on all activity via CRM system. Frequently maintaining and updating account/lead database.

To be successful in this role, you will need a high degree of business acumen with a solid understanding of how to execute an inside sales strategy focused on ecommerce technology solutions.


  • BA/BS degree and 3-5 years of successful inside sales experience in technology sales.
  • Mastery of inside sales techniques.
  • Strong telephone and web-based demonstration skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand new technologies, and to convey the value proposition of those technologies and successfully distinguish them from competitive platforms.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff levels, and with a variety of audiences (technology, business, etc.).
  • Superior customer service focus.
  • Excellent organization skills and time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities.
  • Driven self-starter with high initiative and confidence.
